Bizarro Happy Hour : Hsinchu, Sunday Dec 02

Post your northern Taiwan events here! (Events in Taipei and Xinbei should be posted in the Taipei / Xinbei Events forum.)
Forum rules
This forum is for the listing, promotion, and discussion of the specifics of events in northern Taiwan (but not Taipei/Xinbei). Please include a date in your title (e.g. 3/25) and - in the post - an address in English if possible. If you are providing the information in the form of an online photograph/flyer/poster, it is also advisable to provide the essential details in text as well, so as to facilitate ease of cut-and-paste.

As we wish to encourage people to post their events here, negative commentary isn't welcome in the Events forums. You are, however, more than welcome to post the same debate-encouraging negative criticism of bands, artists, etc. in the Arts & Entertainment or other appropriate forums.

Please PM the Moderators or Admin if you have any concerns or queries.

I was only there for a couple of hours (I've been wanting to see the Bushman play guitar for awhile now and the opportunity to see it in a club where 95% of the crowd were from Thailand was too good to pass up), but it was good to see/meet everyone.

Thanks to everyone who made the effort. I think there was about 20 all up, mainly from the north. Thanks to cfimages for representing the southern heartlanders :)

Cheers to Nigel and the team at the Pig and Whistle. Nice place you have there. Thanks for laying on the free food and drinks deal! Totally unexpected but much appreciated.

Thanks to the Aussie lurker for the unexpected van  at the Hsinchu station to take us to the pub gratis, as well as Mingshah. Nice to meet several new faces too. Cheers.

Thanks to 914 for coming all the way from Vancouver.

Thanks to all for a very enjoyable afternoon.

Pitty there were not more people from Taipei or from down south, it basically was a Taoyuan/Xinzhu HH.

Big thanks to Nigel for the food and the great place.

I'm sorry I missed it. I didn't check the time and like a summy, had assumed that it would start around the same time as the normal happy hours and didn't check the site to get the address and details until around 7pm on Sunday.

The pleasure was all mine, Wookiee.

I didn't believe you actually existed till we met.

Now I've seen everyone I wanted to see. This trip is complete.
