Lukang Taiwanese Traditional Craft Experience Camp! (鹿港傳統藝術體驗營)
Lukang is an township in northwestern Zhanghua County, it also was the most populous city in central Taiwan until the early 20th century, the name Lukang came from the port's trade of deerskins during the Dutch colonial period. In this camp, we will take you to deeply experience Taiwanese traditional art and Taiwanese craft culture! Step by step to learn and experience the most important part by history transformed and record of Taiwan.
By take a trip of those Taiwanese traditional craft artists, it is easily to bring up the passion and respect attitude for you to feel the moving beauty of Taiwanese tradition culture.
1.The activity goal
Lukang is a place where full of treasure of culture and traditional products. In this campus, we will take trip to those temples and craft art workshop, join by traditional art appreciates, You can try and feel by your own experience to connotation the vitality and touched brings form those craftsman.
2.To participate in this activity
(1)E-Mail or fax your application form before Aug.30th(Mon) 2010.
(2)We will have professional guider to guide you in every steps of event.
3.Event Time:
(1)Sep 4th 2010(Saturday), 20 person only.

5. What you need to do
Remember to carry your camera to take some beautiful picture in this event, put the picture and write a travel reflection in your personal website like facebook etc. Then show us your personal website after event in three day.

1020-1050 Culture of temple Lukang Longshan temple(History and architecture exposition)
1050-1100 Walk to Jhongshans Rd
1100-1130 Visit Southern Lukang Visit Ding Mansion, Yi-building and. Jiu Qu Lane.
1130-1250 Taste the popular Lukang local food Taiwanese meatball, thin noodle paste, oyster omelet, meat mixture soup
1300-1500 Old street Visit, Ai-Gate, Lukang assembly hall, Ban Bian Wel, Gwewha art.St.etc.
1500-1530 Craft market experience DIY(Making coaster with wood chips)
1530-1600 Finish 1.Informal discussion 2. Questionnaire survey
