Vegetarian Cooking Classes

Over 8 weeks you'll have an opportunity to cook a variety of scrumptious Chinese
vegetarian dishes. We'll also go on a field trip to a Five-star, all-you-can-eat
veggie buffet in downtown Kaohsiung.
Eight (8) Saturdays from 10:00am-12:00pm; September 11th to October 30th, 2010
-7 classes in total
-6 classes @ Fo Guang Shan Monastery (1 overnight offered)
-1 final banquet @ Fo Guang Shan – invite 2 guests each (100 NT/person)
-1 Five-star veggie restaurant lunch (additional 300NT/person)
Each class includes a veggie meat/tofu dish, and 1 or 2 vegetable dishes.
Recipes will be put together into an e-book, which will include the Chinese
names of the ingredients and a photo, so that you can find them in the
supermarket.
Cost - 500NT/class
You must sign up for a minimum of 4 classes (if something comes up, refunds are
only possible if we are notified prior to ingredients' purchase that week)
There will be a Taxi-Pool from the Zuoying HSR every Saturday morning.
*October 2nd - No class - Five-star veggie restaurant lunch (we meet at the
restaurant)
** October 9th - Overnighter at Fo Guang Shan
*** Oct 30th - Last class; students prepare a banquet for themselves and their
guests
