The Italian restaurant Zorba Garden (左巴花園), which operated in Taidong for some years, has reopened in Tainan City. The address is 38, Sianbei Street (台南市賢北街38號), near Hewei Road Section 5 and Jhonghua North Road.
I never went to the original place, so I can't compare, but the new place is spacious and the food seems good and not overpriced.
It's run by Jenny Hu. She and her Italian ex-husband used to run the Taidong place.

What am I supposed to do on my trips to Taidong now? How very inconsiderate of them! 
I always thought that Zorba Garden should be a Greek restaurant, but it was a really nice place out of Taidong proper, just before Shan(dong? yang? something like that) beach. Food was really nice, but I was surprised they ever made any money being stuck out where they were.
Hope the new Tainan venture goes well - I'll be down in that mythical paradise this weekend, so I may well check it out.

Why does this forum say - "Kaoshiung (Gaoxiong)"?
Just curious. This is clearly in Tainan.
And this sounds like an interesting place to try.
