Thanks Sean. Any word so far?
I apologize for my attitude- I was definitely coming at this from a place of frustration instead of hope, which doesn't do much good.

I don't think there's any need to apologise. We've all come to the personal limit at some time or other. Just using this thread as an opportunity to get people thinking about how easy it is to lean towards the killing 'option'.

No word yet. Should hear something soon though.

From our friend:

"Am still here for an hour but no luck. Talking to the vendor here, they haven't seen the dog today at all. Hopefully someone already got the dog. Will keep waiting for a bit longer."

There is a big metal gate to the right of the train station. The dog seemed to want to go in there.
Wish I had stayed that morning but I was already running late to catch my train to work. I would have liked to at least given him a good meal.

I am humbled and grateful
I'm glad I posted here. I'm also having a nice philosophical debate with myself about your view on life vs. suffering. My gutt still says 'end the suffering' but I'm open to changing my mind.
A friend (in Scotland) has offered to donate for his care- please let me know where I can direct him to make a donation. I would like to donate as well. If anyone responds to my facebook post asking for a foster home, I will let you know.
And, if anything, please post about his progress. He was really a nice fellow and I'd love to see how his case turns out.

pup, sorry I thought bout killing you. Hope you end up in a wonderful forever home.
One more thing- Yuchi is a hero :notworthy:

I've asked Yuchi what help she needs and if a foster home is required. And I've asked us how we can send some money her way to help pay for his treatment and care. I'll also send some info about the importance of diet in helping him recover from the mange.

So glad you posted here. Great that Yuchi went and got him. :)

More info as I get it!

Damn. This community gets me all weepy sometimes. :notworthy: :bravo:
You can live here and have a great life and not be the least bit into living the local life. Clowns will try to diss you for it saying you gotta get down with the program, but fuck em, treat this place like a buffet and yous be on a diet. Take what you want and nothing extra, slam those oysters, but leave the bread sticks and dinner rolls behind. - Deuce Dropper
