Three huge turtles seek new digs

Yeah, so we have these 3 red ears.
You know, these guys:



We've had them for about 3 years, I guess.
They were the normal NT$50 size when we got them.
I figured, you know, they'd last 6 months to a year, as they do.
Somewhere along the way, however, not only did they not croak, they became exposed to some kind of radioactive ooze or something, and became enormously humungous.
They're each about the size of my (manly) hand.

And I got no place for them to live.

I really need to find them a better home.

They're an ideal choice for someone who has an aquarium and is looking for something with a little more character then fish.

It seems it's quite common for turtles to fall prey to dogs. I'll see if I can find them a location less inundated with canines. I have one in mind.

When the turtle's gone and you can't go on, It's tragedy.
When the turtle cries and you don't know why.
It's hard to bear with no-one to love, turtle's goin' nowhere.

True. The rivers and streams of Taiwan especially near cities have been overrun by the little bastards. Check the pond behind the main Confucius Temple near YuanShan MRT. They'd have lots of friends there, and they get fed.

Yes, I'd actually been considering doing a midnight commando run to let them go in the pond at SYS, which is, after all, hardly a pristine natural ecosystem, and is full of turtles already, but I didn't feel especially good about it.
Never mind the chance that I might have to murder a cop if I got caught and he tried to slap the 18 billion NT fine on me.
