Must have been a full moon. A group of KTV'ing foreigners, including women, got roughed up by quite a few punks in Douleo this past weekend.

Douliu, in Yunlin county? Not sure what this has to do with an incident in China... unless they were beaten up after interfering in a dispute between locals.

I should add that this guy went for a foreign girl who tried to reason with him. Like, went for her bare knuckle stylee.

Anyways, I'll do my best to stay away from business that's not mine - it's all fun and games until someones loses an (insert body part)..

If it counts for anything I caught up with yokels last night, and it turns out the Henan Taxi mob sorted him out (most taxi drivers in Xiamen are Henanese). Gave him a solid "klap".

Apparently if he's seen in this hood he'll get get 'escorted' somewhere else. He's basically banned from from the road I live on.

Had a chat with a local last night. They were fully behind me, ready to knock him, which a big taxi driver did later.

It's best not to tangle with idiots ... you see them on the roads, you see them on motorcycles, driving BMWs or Mercs in Taipei, thinking they are driving some sort of spaceship ... AVOID. If they do something dumb, or you try to stop them doing something dumb (like driving like a real A*****e...), you will not be thanked at the time, especially if you are right.

I've had several drivers flash lights at me on the roads in Taipei, speed up, slow down, suddenly switch lanes in front of me, or otherwise try to crash my car on the roads in Bali (always)... but for my caution. Why did they do it? Just because they were in the wrong place at the wrong time, and they were idiots. Unfortunately, standing up for your rights is only going to get you trouble, at least at that point. Fortunately, I have always assumed that the person in front of me can do anything at any time... so I avoided those idiots.

I'm planning to get a webcam on my car, so at least I can record the incidents next time. Perhaps... that will assuage me :roflmao:

Apparently flashing lights is a 'courtesy' meaning 'I'm coming through, move'.

True, I still find it rude though.
