There are plenty of bands in Taiwan which are better than Wu Bai in my opinion, but they are mostly all underground. I think the popular music scene in Taiwan is pretty bland, to be honest, and you have to go to some dive to see anything impressive.

You know, I was going to post a bunch of YouTube stuff for all kinds of bands that play in non-dives like The Wall and Legacy ...
but I don't think that would change many minds as to "The Best".
It would just be a list of my favorites, recent and old. Really only interesting to me.
So in my opinion, the best band from Taiwan, with more than a decade of service and 6 albums of clever and fun 60's inspired pop:

Wu Bai used to Rock, but cashed in long ago.
Now he's just a wanker, there being far better young showmeisters to check out.
