the best thing for a customer walking into the store is to just watch :)

the best thing for the owner is to call the fuzz and let them handle it, or else he may get in trouble with his franchiser.

but if it was my store, im sorry but im gonna make her stop. Im not standing for that going on in MY store.

however, if shes really bonkers as i suspect, i may just wait for the fuzz who may wait for the ambulance people

she needs to be shot with a tranquilizer dart. (just kidding)

but honestly, I do feel sorry for her, so cute and all and whats up with all that? Maybe shes on that Special K thing? Or maybe shes had too much American beef?

Or maybe shes had one english lesson too many, or maybe her foreigner friend (yeah how come no foreigners involved here eh) dumped her ass for someone new, another cute chick on the MRT>

its really hard to deal with someone off her rocker.

if the owner tried to restrain her she could become super violent and jab the dude / dudette in the eye or something.

or she may bite. All sorts of things could happen with a loose cannon.

What way would that be? Tackle her yourself? If someone robs a shop in England it is common policy to let them.

Yeah, and I hate that attitude. Oh, never mind, that's somebody else's problem. The insurance will pay for it. And where does the insurance company get their money from? Every little item of personal responsibility that people offload onto someone else eventually comes back to them, with interest. Actually, I was in the UK at the time of the riots, and it was surprising how many people actually did stand in harm's way to protect property. Property isn't just "stuff" - it represents a little bit of someone's life that was used up to pay for it.

She's a girl with a grudge, FFS, not an escaped convict with a shotgun.

If someone wants to smash up your shop, let them. Especially if your shop is a franchise, with insurance. Getting yourself into a world of trouble over a few tea eggs and some rotten fish pie is not smart. If the girl then breaks the shop assistants arm if he interferes, BINGO he is suing Family Mart. I would suspect shop workers are actively told to leave people alone. But, if you have a different idea about what should have been done then I am here for you baby!

Yes, I know there are plenty of incentives to do the wrong thing (not just here - elsewhere too). I said someone should try to talk her down. Distract her until the police arrives. OK, fine, we don't know the backstory. But if she does have mental problems, being hauled off in handcuffs isn't going to fix anything.

My dad worked in a shop his whole life, an off licence. He would always say, "If someone wants to come in and rob the shop then fine. I'm not getting killed for a bottle of gin." Fancy tackling someone else to protect a microwave meal? That is loco Acapulco style. You are right that she could have been talked to to distract her. But I wouldn't be touching her or body checking her. Reminds me of the sort of comedy sketch where they talk about the differences between a black and a white western person during a robbery. The black person would duck and run. The white person would stand up and demand to know what was going on and probably get shot.

I do feel sorry for her, so cute and all and whats up with all that?

Tommy, what if she were 65 and 200 pounds? :D Don't answer, I think I already know what you are going to say! :D

actually shes rather tame compared to my ex who trashed the lunch box i brought home for her (at her request) then picked up my favorite knife and lunged at me. Causing me to tackle her to the ground and all the resultant shouting (from her) caused the neighbors to call the police , who arrived en masse (as they are wont to do).

so this gal was rather tame, shes not even REALLY MAD.

just perturbed :)

yeah - she doesn't even really start enjoying it until she gets to the carton'd drink section. If I was there, I'd be like, "not like that, like THIS'' - until some jackoff thought the frigging microwaved dinners were worth more than my liberty.

don't they section people here then?
I ask because my neighbour is annoyingly crazy, not creatively crazy or fit like the girl in the vid. And she's married at 20?

Poor girl. She must be terribly confused.

Should depend on your behaviour if you get sectioned or not. She wouldn't be sectioned in the UK for being bi-polar. She'd certainly have now flagged herself up for close scrutiny.

Married at 20 is not all that weird is it? Ever been to the middle east? Africa? 20 is OLD for a bride in some countries mate.

That Dutch guy looked as though he has done aikido. That aside, he was probably at least six inches taller than the other guy. What was that guy thinking touching him?!
