No
We reach for the sky. Neither does civilisation.

(Incidentally, if the search button is your friend, you must have some bloody useless, dysfunctional friends)

You could get hit by a bus and die tomorrow.

Not fucking likely where I live. One! A measly ONE every half-hour. Get hit by one of them and dude! You kind of deserve it, no? Darwinism and all that?

Shit happens. I recall humming "a big yellow taxi, took out my old man" many a time under my breath while low flying a crap replica Jap bike, probably without a helmet and most certainly drunk at some point in Taiwan.

I sort of hoped my lad could see the joke, perhaps some years later.

The only reason why it would be important where you pass away is so that your friends and relatives would have a physical reference of you in order to mourn, and so that as to you it will be a comfort before death to be around and with them.
If you have no relatives or friends, to you it will be of no consequence where you expire, as point of death is an extraordinarily lonely experience where all sense of time and physical space evaporates, hence you won't be worrying about where you are.
What happens after that? Who knows.
The bones got the wrong detail I hoped it would have for you

If a plane carrying both Australians and Taiwanese crashes somewhere between the two countries, where do they bury the survivors?

at sea.

(yeah, you don't bury survivors... but there will be no survivors from a plane crash halfway between Taiwan and Australia, it's the middle of the bloody Pacific Ocean).

(yeah, you don't bury survivors... but there will be no survivors from a plane crash halfway between Taiwan and Australia, it's the middle of the bloody Pacific Ocean).

Actually that would depend on whether you are working from most southern part of Taiwan to most Northern part of Australia, in which case it is not in the middle of the bloody Pacific Ocean, but in the south of the Philippines.
The answer therefore would be that the survivors are captured and held for ransom by terrorists in the south of the Philippines and their bodies are never recovered so they can not be buried.
