Religion in the Military

Postby acauld111 » 04 Apr 2011, 12:36

I had a curious conversation yesterday with my wife (from Taiwan), when a couple of old military movies came on and both movies (one American Soldiers, and the other involving British Soldiers). In both there was a heavy pressence of military Chaplains. Our discussion brought up the arguement of whether there were any military Chaplains in the R.O.C. Military? Niether of could remember seeing any. Do they have a Chaplaincy, and what insignia would they wear, Christians usually wear a cross, Jewish Chaplains wear the Star of David. What would a Buddist or other worshipped diety wear?

You can hide all windows, revealing only what's on the computer desktop, with one keystroke: Windows key+D in Windows, F11 on Macs (or, on recent Mac laptops, Command+F3; Command is the key with the cloverleaf logo). That's great when you want examine or delete something you've just downloaded to the desktop, for example. Press the keystroke again to return to what you were doing.
