That's good. I still think you should be getting a bit more considering you have a masters, extra certificates, plus 4 yrs exp.

I can't believe they tried 30k on for size. I know what Taiwanese companies are like. But what were they smoking?

Great you got the job, everything starts from there, jia you!
Get good experience for the CV and work it for contacts and understanding of the given industry.
I can remember the fourth of July runnin' through the backwood bare.

That's true. I think as a foreigner you have to demonstrate significant value compared to what colleagues have.

My company would have paid up more if I had more related experience and industry knowledge I believe.

I am getting paid extra for teaching English during office hours though :)

50k NT a month or 50k USD a year? How much bonuses?
