Grief. I would be really interested to know how much money gets spent on buxibans (or the schools that are basically glorified buxibans) in this country.

One sometimes gets the impression that the mere words "Socialism" and "Communism" draw towards them with magnetic force every fruit-juice drinker, nudist, sandal-wearer, sex-maniac, Quaker, "Nature Cure" quack, pacifist, and feminist in England. -- George Orwell

Enough for all of us to retire to a small island of our choice for the rest of our lives, I'll wager.

Bismarck, thank you for finally starting a thread on a topic many have often wondered about. (If you could edit your original post with some of the answers and information you have gathered so far, it would be very helpful).

Q: How many students can he legally teach at home? I have heard 'no more than six'. Is there any official word on this?

Q: What would the next logical step be in bismarck's case? What are the requirements and/or regulations? Which department should he contact when he has satisfied his goals and want to increase his number of students at new premises?

I realize I am asking questions for him. They are my questions, too. ^.^

My Taiwanese wife mentioned something about 5 students. Not a 100% sure she's correct. Might be 6. Does anyone know the official number?
