lets say I'm interested in the techonogly field. Between Taiwan and south Korea where would empolyment, salary to price of living ratio in this field be better in?

But its more then just money, how do people's friendliness differ?

How are the girls between them?

Hows the standard of living?

Which would I experinece less discrimination in being white?

You would experience less discrimination in Taiwan. Korea has a strain of nationalism that just doesn't exist here (or at least, neither of the two main competing forms of nationalism are directed against us), and foreigners are always getting into fights over there.

On the other hand, unlike Taiwan, Korea might give you citizenship after a few years (without making you renounce your previous citizenship).

As for the fair sex, everybody knows that the hottest women are reindeer Ewenki.

no surprise, taiwan sandard of living is higher then japan I believe in terms of GDP-PPP.Korea in catching up in that aspect but I think GDP-PPP is still projected for taiwan to increase at a faster rate. But.. im worried about the job market. Would i ever be able to find a job that pays better then being a engrish teacher? korea in terms of technology seems to have bigger job market (altho im also interested in finance if anyone can enlighten me for the situation for finance in the 'wan)

if I had to chose between quality of life, entertainment, and most liveable factor I'd say taiwan in a heartbeat.

But i couldn't imagine just teaching english until i rot.

HOnestly I think everyone considering TAiwan and Korea in the same vein should definitely do Korea First.

Both are excellent countries OP, you can't go wrong with either.

Korea is more tiring but more fun.

Taiwan is just really really nice place to live.

I've just come back from visiting Seoul. It is definitely more than a bit more expensive than it is here. But then, the pay is usually double or more than what it is in Taiwan (office jobs [9am-9pm]). Since coming back, I have been seriously thinking about moving there, even if I do not speak or understand 99% of the language.
