Gay/Lesbian support groups in Taiwan?

Postby pubba » 11 Apr 2007, 21:33

Im asking this for a friend (honest!)

She is a lovely young girl that works at my local tea shop here in Taichung County (Tung Shih - about 90 mins from Taichung city)

We have become good friends over the last month or so, and Im currently teaching her English when we both have some free time.

Its nice having a 'girl friend' with none of the relationship angst hanging over us, so I enjoy her company and want to help her out.

As you can imagine, there are no gay bars etc in this area, and I was wondering if any of our gay members now of a countrywide support group that I can direct her to?

Failing that - Are there any lesbian bars in Taichung or Taipei that she can check out?

“Everywhere else in the world is also really old” said Prof. Liu, a renowned historian at Beijing University. “We always learn that China has 5000 years of cultural heritage, and that therefore we are very special. It appears that other places also have some of this heritage stuff. And are also old. Like, really old.”
