Well, I'm not really looking to hook up... yet. Just wanna get to know the community. Hang out in places where they usually hang. If I do meet someone who I find a connection with, then that'll be an unexpected bonus, won't it?

Although, yes I do see your point, Sandman, of most pairings being of a T and a P. But once in a blue moon I do come across two P looking girls hand holding while strolling, though perhaps they're merely bosom buddies.

So, the question of the thread was never answered. Are there any notable places to hang out for lesbians? And are they even mildly tolerant of newcomers? I'd be content to initially just sit at a corner booth and observe and gauge the scene.

The Jailhouse is at Gongguan. The owner is a sweetheart and she speaks English. Esha (sp) and Taboo are also worth checking out. Taichung has a lot more ladies' bars.

Um, Chief. I know that you are not willingly infringing on my trade dress rights, but please note that I joined this forum several months before you did. As such, I hold all rights to the role and title of:

Boisterous Middle Aged Man with a Slightly Creepy Lesbian Fetish (TM)

So I'm afraid you'll have to stick to making unsettling remarks to some other poster group. I suggest Furries. Or Bears.

Bushwah, junior.
You lost all tenure when you absquatulated from your designated Representative Field Office down south and decided to horn in on my well-established domination of the Metro Taipei region.
You're back to a Novice ranking, pal, welcome to MY junkyard!

ETA: Anyways, I would never be so unthinking and selfish to confine my "Slightly Creepy Fetish" to Lesbians. I enthusiastically include Ladies of all types, not just them what's come from Beirut, that would be stupid...

Hi Jenny, thanks for your reply! Where is Jailhouse located in Gongguan? Is it a club or a bar? Also yeah, I saw Esha and Taboo mentioned in some online articles, but are they quite far from Shi-Da?

Do you go to those spots, too? How would you describe the crowd? Are they warm and welcoming or do they tend to leave you alone?

Thanks a lot. I really am kinda lost here.

Jenny, I've been having trouble with my PM function lately. Nothing I send out seems to get through. Would email be better? Send me a PM.

Just want to know, like, curious mind and all.

T stands for tomboy. The uniform is Doc Martens, baggy camo trousers, short hair. They often bind their breasts to look more "manly."
P stands for pao (wife) or maybe princess. The uniform is less strict, but must be girlish and feminine.

Honestly, Battery 9 has given many treatises on the subject, lacking only in the area of explicit close-up photographs. Do try to pay a bit more attention, Wookie. We're not doing this for the good of our health, you know!

For reference.
