Another Canadian in Worldwide Trouble: Luka Rocco Magnotta

Postby ChewDawg » 04 Jun 2012, 01:08

And the Chinese aren't too happy about!!! Second high profile killing of a Chinese student in two years. They are warning their own citizens about potential safety issues in Canada.

What a creep this Magnotta animal is . A porn star murderer that sends body parts in the mail and flees to Paris.

Surprised he didn´t flee to Taiwan or Korea for a teaching gig! Seriously though, with the murder of a foreign student, the sending of body parts to political parties, the murderer´s obsession with another famous Canadian murderer (Karla Homolka), and his porn star background, this story has a lot of different twists.

The Chinese Embassy in Ottawa has warned citizens living or travelling in Canada to “strengthen their personal security” after the gruesome killing and dismemberment of a Chinese student living in Montreal.

The warning was posted to the Embassy’s website in Chinese on Friday, but left out of its English and French statements on the homicide. It comes amid growing discussion in China of whether Canada remains a safe place to travel and study.

The grisly murder of Concordia University computer science student Lin Jun, allegedly at the hands of fugitive Luka Rocca Magnotta, has provoked widespread shock and anger in China, where many believe the crime was racially motivated. It was the second killing of a Chinese student in Canada in just over a year, following last April’s murder of York University student Liu Qian, part of which was watched on Skype by her boyfriend back in China.

Magnotta, 29, a self-confessed Canadian porn star wanted in connection with a killing that saw a torso left in a suitcase and a hand and foot mailed to the Ottawa offices of the Liberal and Conservative parties fled to Europe, most likely Paris, police believe.

Born Eric Newman, Magnotta is also known to wear wigs and disguises, Lafrenière said. He also has an extensive Internet presence including blog entries, a website and a Facebook page.

Hey, you have to admit it is not your usual run of the mill story. Porn, murder, admiration of previous serial killers, body parts in the mail to political parties, white supremacy, racism against minorities, possible fleeing to other countries etc.

I think this asshole should get the death penalty. He was treated lightly in the system with his previous criminal history, which involved mostly identity and credit card crimes. Lots of cases against him in the past have been dismissed. Too bad he didn´t just get a slap on the wrist in the past.

Yes, it is interesting, but sadly it is laden with tidbits of your butthurtness and self-loathing. "Another Canadian"? "Surprised he didn't flee to TW or Korea for a teaching gig?" Still mad at those teachers after all these years ChewEy? Sad.

Two Chinese students were murdered in their car last month near the USC campus, I guess everyone in China must be keenly aware of violence in the US.

Not at all. I come from a family of mostly teachers. Have respect for the profession, just not the ones that are not certified. You could say I hold a left wing union view in this respect as most teaching unions in developed world locales do not like uncertified teachers either.

It is you that has the fascist position! Supporting uncertified educational services providers hahahahahaha.

And it is not like the Korea story and fleeing didn´t happen in the past.

Meh. He was just getting the Chinese back for that Greyhound bus cannibal a few years ago.
It's amazing what getting out of the care of the Scottish National Health Service can do for your life expectancy.
