I wonder If the circumstances that brought him into custody are all true.
He was caught in an Internet cafe'. Could have been some surfer profiling at play.
You only need to visit your favourite three websites within five minutes and the service provider should know that it is you sitting behind the keyboard.
It's a good thing they got him though and, hopefully, I am just a little paranoid.

I doubt Germany particularly wants to keep him safe.

What makes me sickest about this case is that he made a snuff film purely for internet consumption. He wanted to be famous.

And famous he is, and will be. He will live out the rest of his life in a Canadian prison, opening up fan mail from sickos around the globe.

Here's a brief description of the video:

It begins with some footage of a slender young man tied to a bed; it appears he is only somewhat conscious, but his head moves.

What follows, or appears to follow, is the stabbing of the man on the bed with an ice pick by a black-clad male. The victim, or purported victim, is then shown with his throat slashed as the black-clad man slices his body, dismembers it (and plays with the parts), decapitates him, invites a black and white dog into the frame to feast on the corpse, and then sexually attacks it.

He also eats the victims buttocks with a knife and fork. I read this in another, longer description, which I do not want to read ever again. Look up "1 lunatic, 1 icepick" if you need to read any more. There are reaction videos on YouTube.

Also, his first videos were of kittens being tortured. He made several of them.

I really wish this guy could be locked up in such a way that would prevent him from enjoying any of his fame, ever.

Canadian police say suspicious packages delivered to two Vancouver schools appear to contain human remains.

There were no details about whether police believe the packages are connected to the Montreal killing of a Chinese student who was murdered and dismembered.

Alleged killer Luka Rocco Magnotta is to be extradited from Germany for the killing of Jun Lin.

"The first package containing what appeared to be a human hand was opened by a staff member" at a Vancouver elementary school, police said in a statement.

The second package "containing what appeared to be a human foot" was found by staff at another school a few hours later, they said, emphasising that there was so far "no indication of an identity" of the victim.

"The investigation will centre on identifying the victim and from where the packages were mailed. Investigators will liaise with any outside police agencies as required," Vancouver police said.

One of Lin's hands, a foot and his head are still missing.

Last week, body parts were mailed to the headquarters of the federal Liberal and Conservative parties.

What's worrisome is they haven't found the head yet. Magnotta wants to be famous, I'm sure we'll find out where he mailed the head within a few days.

Just for the record: suspect was already deported back to Canada. Hope the families involved will get closure.

He is especially sick. He will plead insanity I would think.

But there are sickos everywhere. Just tonite read bout two disturbing stories.

1. some village person in India murders his 20 year old daughter because he was not pleased with her "whoring around" . Decapitates her and parades her head around his village.

2. some guy in taiwan hasnt had a job for some time, lives with his GF in an apt owned by her dad. He kills her and then slices off both her breasts and lays them on the kitchen counter then jumps off the building.
