Taiwan Sperm Banks

Okay, I might as be blunt about it, no tiptoeing around. Christmas and Chinese New Year are rolling around and I'm thinking of making some fast easy cash for little work. Short of robbing a bank I would think donating to a bank would be the easiest way. I'd figure my exotic white looks would be a good draw for potential customers. Lots of Asians would love to have a white baby.

No, really, I'm halfway serious. Does anybody know anything about where to go and what the process involves? They do have them in Taiwan, don't they? Anyone have any experience in this field?

Seriously doubt you'll find any anywhere else in Taiwan either. Few people actually try to have children out of wedlock, and those who are married would probably want to try to hide the fact that they needed to go to sperm bank to get pregnant.

Interesting though, I read a great article once about sperm banks in Details. I guess that unless you are a doctor, a lawyer, or went to an ivy league school you can pretty much toss the idea. Also they reject donors who have a history of baldness, certain family illnesses, are less than six feet tall, overweight etc. etc. You'd be surprised by how picky banks are (at least abroad).

I'm sure it'll work and could become a craze. My wife is pregnant and her sister has asked several times if she can have the baby.She thinks perhaps we don't want it because it wasn't planned. People are absolutely obsessed with "what it's going to look like" and "It'll be so cute". Ask anyone with a half foreinger baby about the attention they constantly get and I think you'll realize you are onto something.
sperm banks may not be so eager to get into this craze as there would definately be alot of backlash in the newspapers on the ethics....,But I bet if you ran an add in a paper with an anonymous e-mail address you'd get many replies.I think you should try that first and then see what the result is.
Maybe even make one of those free websites and advertise your sperm there.

A lot of women SAY they'd like a mixed blood kid, but "He's so cuuuuute!" doesn't mean they would actually be willing to take the plunge, so to speak, and have an illegitimate child and all that that entails.
I don't recommend Grigg's idea. Imagine a Next reporter posing as a customer - they love that sort of thing. Do you know if it legal to sell sperm in this way? I doubt you'd want to run the risk of appearing on TV cuffed to a rail in the local cop shop. Why would the police bother? Because you'd be an easy target.

Besides, say you go through with it, you're not going to make much money from it. Plus, even if the woman agrees that you don't have to contribute financially, or otherwise, to raising the kid, how do you know she won't change her mind? Even if the donation was anonymous, I am sure it would be possible to track down the father.

In short, don't go there!

Yo dude! what difference does it make if the person ends up with your sperm or another mans sperm--either way they are bent on getting sperm from the sperm bank if they go there in the first place.

'In this way' refers to flogging sperm on the net, in personal ads etc.

This means first find out if it is legal to sell sperm outside of a legit sperm bank. That's just commonsense, but it's obviously in short supply round here.

Actually, the legal ramifications are just one of the reasons to be cautious. What if the woman decides she would like the father to contribuite funds afterall, tracks him down, threatens to kill herself, harm the child etc etc. Sounds like an unlikely scenario? Well, you'd better hope so if you want to donate sperm to someone you don't know. You just don't need that kind of hassle. There's too much potential for things to go badly wrong, regardless of whether you are donating legally or not.

There are other things to consider if you're doing an 'under the table' donation (interesting image!). I wouldn't feel confortable giving sperm to somebody I wasn't absolutely convinced was going to raise the child well. I would hate to think that my son or daughter was being mistreated by a weirdo parent who just wanted some kind of trophy child.

Some people may be able to 'fire and forget' but I don't think I could bring myself to do it, certainly not for pocket money. What about half a mill?....well, I may have to consider adjusting my moral parameters for that amount , if anyone was dumb enough to offer me that much for my seed!
