Complete bollocks Tommy. I just had a friend awarded custody of his daughter ( ROC mother ) born in Taiwan to a British father. They were not married. The mother refused to attend any court hearing so the Judge and the police went to her apartment with the father to get the 2 year old daughter after the judge became fd up with the other for refusing to attend several court hearings.
Maybe you should stop trying to be the resident expert on the laws of Taiwan. You have certainly shown you havent got a fooking clue.
