WCIF a pet shop for salt water fish aquariums

I have a salt water reef aquarium and sometimes i cannot find the right equipment on the 2 shops I know in Hsinchu, if someone knows a big shop in Hsinchu or Taipei or even taoyuen please let me know!!

In Xindian they have several ones, on Bexin street. The one closest to Tapinglin MRT has equipment and sea horses, starfish and otehr exotic fishes.

Hey Icon... i didnt see this post from you.. would you mind pointing on a map where are those shops? and area would also work for me... I don't live in Taipei and when i travel I get lost easy hahaha... so any help would work!!

If you are making a special trip to Taipei then head to Mingquan east road section 5, close to the bridge, this street is also entirely aquarium stores, you should find anything you may ever need there. Omerojs, what are you looking for specifically? Those stores on Mingquan are mostly fw fish and plant stores. the few SW stores are mostly livestock w/ imo a pretty lame selection of hardware. if your chinese reading is up to it or have a helpful friend, try the local taiwan reef website http://www.ph84.idv.tw/vbb/.

I had a hard time finding "decent" hardware when i tried running a reef tank in taipei a few years back. I agree with supers54, online definitely has better selection and prices.

You'll find anything to find in 魚中魚 in Xindian. It's on ershizhang road, which is linked to Zhongzheng Rd.

Thx guys, I am rebuilding/expanding to a 90G tank.. so ill make a trip to taipei in a few weeks to check them out!
which one would you think is the best one for SW live stock? I need a peppermint shrimp... in Hsinchu they only have camel shrimps.
also I need a turkey baster.. the big ones made out of glass..

Well I went there and i got disappointed.. i only saw 3 small shops and decided to stop walking without a real direction... I was getting tired and it was raining..

if anyone knows of a big shop in Taipei that has good selection of SW live stock and equipment, please send me a PM or post here!!!
I am not living in Taipei so if you want to help me, please post an address or google maps link so that its easier for me to find the place !!! thx

The only one I have been to is the Daxing store. It's massive, it's open 24 hours and has pretty much everything you need for reef tanks - even big ones. They sell reef fish, invertebrates and live corals as well as a big range of water treatments, skimmers, filters etc.

Anyway, copy and paste 桃園市大興西路一段221號 into Google maps. It's about 1 minute drive from the Carrefour on Jianguo.

They sell a wide range of animals in addition to fish. Last time I was there they were trying to sell a full-grown raccoon.
