A very large map of Taipei City

Discussions about how to find those things that are not immediately obvious

Forum rules
1) Please search  before posting. Note that you should also search content-relevant forums (like Food & Drink for those items, and not just WCIF). If there is a content-relevant forum, the thread should be there, not here.

2) Please append your request to an existing thread if you find a stale one, rather than starting a new one.

3) Please post separately  for each search item, not one thread for "olives and sour cream". Two threads, one for each. This makes it much easier for the moderator to merge your thread with an existing one, if any.

Of course, if you still can't find what you're looking for, please do feel free to post, and we'll do our very best to help you find what you need. If you have any trouble using the search function or the forum, please don't hesitate to send a PM (private message) to the Where Can I find...? moderator asking for help. Happy posting!!! :rainbow:

The free maps available at most MRTs are pretty good, if you don't want to pay for one from Caves bookshop that is...
The Caves one is made by a different company to the free MRT one, but they both offer plenty of detail. Really, the free one they give away at most MRTs is really good...

Just go to the main train station and pick up a map from the tourism desks. The cycling map of the city is an excellent overall map.
“Everywhere else in the world is also really old” said Prof. Liu, a renowned historian at Beijing University. “We always learn that China has 5000 years of cultural heritage, and that therefore we are very special. It appears that other places also have some of this heritage stuff. And are also old. Like, really old.”

Print out all the Google pages and then stick them together.

If you're in Streetview, that should be a pretty big map.
