Discussions about how to find those things that are not immediately obvious
Moderator: Charlie Phillips
1) Please search before posting.
Note that you should also search content-relevant forums (like Food & Drink for those items, and not just WCIF). If there is a content-relevant forum, the thread should be there, not here.
2) Please append your request to an existing thread
if you find a stale one, rather than starting a new one.
3) Please post separately for each search item
, not one thread for "olives and sour cream". Two threads, one for each. This makes it much easier for the moderator to merge your thread with an existing one, if any.
Of course, if you still can't find what you're looking for, please do feel free to post, and we'll do our very best to help you find what you need. If you have any trouble using the search function or the forum, please don't hesitate to send a PM (private message) to the Where Can I find...? moderator asking for help. Happy posting!!!
I am thinking of buying a 2 meter long table from a private party in xinzhu. I live in Toufen, about $NT 500 taxi ride from Xinzhu. Do the taxi companies here have vans in their fleet? or is there some other option?

There are places that rent little blue trucks. You could rent one, or ask if they can provide a truck and driver to deliver a table. Or ask a moving company for a quote.

The moment when you first wake up in the morning is the most wonderful of the twenty-four hours. No matter how weary or dreary you may feel, you possess the certainty that, during the day that lies before you, absolutely anything may happen. And the fact that it practically always doesn't, matters not a jot. The possibility is always there -- MONICA BALDWIN
