English version of Diablo 3

Postby achangey » 04 May 2012, 15:06

Where can I purchase a physical English copy of Diablo 3? I want to keep the original box and contents, which would be of no use to me in Chinese. Thanks!

I was hoping for a retailer that I can go and buy from. Is that site legit?

I seriously doubt that a moderator on forumosa.com is going to publicly recommend a site that isn't "legit".

Thank you Jimi :) Don't be too hard on him, not everyone knows what paragons of rectitude we are.

Yes, I've ordered from them before. Be in your hands in a couple of days, they're in HK. SInce there's a Chinese version that's what you're going to find in stores here, as far as I know.

Meaning even when the retailers don't have their own exclusive online website you can order from, there are often retailers who accept orders through amazon. Look it up

I can vouch for play-asia. I've ordered several things through them (mostly Wii accessories. They tend to be a bit more expensive, but shipping is free.

Personally, I'm not sold on Diablo 3. The beta was fun, but it is just hack 'n slash. If I get it, it'll be on Steam or another digital download service.

Go to the Y-mall at Taipei main station (its under ground) walk down about 5-10 minutes and youll reach a section with lots of video game stores. You'll find it there. If they dont have English copies take a Chinese box an look for 英文版, that will have English. Do not buy any 中文版, that will not have English. 中英版 will have English.

Alternatively use steam, playasia is legit too for a hardcopy I bought a US-version of battlefield 3 from them and I was satisfied with the whole process.
