Discussions about how to find those things that are not immediately obvious

Forum rules
1) Please search  before posting. Note that you should also search content-relevant forums (like Food & Drink for those items, and not just WCIF). If there is a content-relevant forum, the thread should be there, not here.

2) Please append your request to an existing thread if you find a stale one, rather than starting a new one.

3) Please post separately  for each search item, not one thread for "olives and sour cream". Two threads, one for each. This makes it much easier for the moderator to merge your thread with an existing one, if any.

Of course, if you still can't find what you're looking for, please do feel free to post, and we'll do our very best to help you find what you need. If you have any trouble using the search function or the forum, please don't hesitate to send a PM (private message) to the Where Can I find...? moderator asking for help. Happy posting!!! :rainbow:

Greetings all, I have read through here and I did some searching, so where can an every day Joe like myself locate me some Lever2000? I live in Zhubei City (or Chupei, or Zhubei depending on the sign) and I can find it nowhere. I am thinking it may be more available at some shops in Taipei which is not an issue. Any takers?

Thanks
B

Welcome to Forumosa -and happy to see this is not a post from the Mainland ( your buxiban post confirms  )

I would call Unilever's office in Taiwan as I never saw the soap here you look for. if it ain't in Watsons where you live, you won't find it in Taipei neither
Wasn't Dove the same stuff?

Thank you for your reply!

Taipei was my last hope. If I couldn't get it there, well, I am SOL.

I think I saw Dove being sold at a dermatologists office. But I think it was called Penguin. Same packaging though. No, Dove and Lever are not the same.

Thanks for your input all the same!

Wellman's in Tianmu tends to carry a few imported soaps, but I've no idea which ones. You could ask them.

When you're searching for something on the Web using, say, Google, put quotes around phrases that must be searched together. For example, if you put quotes around "electric curtains," Google won't waste your time finding one set of Web pages containing the word "electric" and another set containing the word "curtains."
