Consistency

I know that individual mods have their own ways of interpretting the rules and some take a more lenient line than others but surely the bit about not doing anything illegal is fairley black and white?
Do not promote illegal activities. Breach of this rule can lead to legal proceedings against this site, and will not be tolerated. In cases where the law has been broken, Forumosa may notify the proper authorities if appropriate.

So first we JimmiP telling everybody that if they recommend that some guy gets a dodgy Degree cert then the thread will be closed or temped. Fine all well and good.

then there is another thread talking about the illegal downloading of TV shows and how to do it and possitively encouraging it.

Personally I don't care if people want to work illegally or download movies or whatever, they're victimless crimes and in the great scheme of things really unimportant. However, the mods should at least present a united front on somethings. :2cents:
