Getting a visa in Japan!

Postby Karee18 » 23 Apr 2012, 23:39

Ok so I overstayed my passport visa and now have to leave to get a new one in order to get my ARC. I would go to hong kong but it's too expensive for the hotel and there is a holiday next week which will cause the offices to close on Tuesday thus delaying my trip even longer. So I want to go to Japan because I have a friend there and can stay for free. I was wondering if anyone knows where the office is in Tokyo for the Taipei Economic and Cultural Office and the number. Also I was wondering if anyone knows how's long it takes to process a working visa in Japan since I already have my work permit (which I got one day after my visa expired). Thanks in advance for any advice or help. I'm in a huge bind right now.

You can hide all windows, revealing only what's on the computer desktop, with one keystroke: Windows key+D in Windows, F11 on Macs (or, on recent Mac laptops, Command+F3; Command is the key with the cloverleaf logo). That's great when you want examine or delete something you've just downloaded to the desktop, for example. Press the keystroke again to return to what you were doing.
