Advice: Taped Demo with Fake Students

Allo folks,

So my main employer has just asked me to do a 40 min taped demo with fake students for promotional and training purposes. Although its 40 minutes, the whole process will be 2.5 hrs (not sure why....)

But I get to choose which lesson (out of the textbook for the class which I am making a demo of) and I am supposed to 'interact with the students even more than usual' (its a reading and listening class, so they have a lot of independent work sprinkled between engaged activities during the lesson).

The fake student thing I find strange, but whatever

Anyone ever done something like this? If so, care to share your experiences or any advice?

And how much are you to be paid for this? My advice is to sort out the money side of things first...

I assume your work permit from this employer only covers teaching? I am not sure if a video for "promotion and training" falls under teaching?
There will be video evidence if it doesn't.

Promotion sounds a bit open ended for me. I would ask exactly what they plan to do with the video.

SK-I will be paid around 3x my usual hourly rate, even if I wasn't though I would probably do it. This employer has been really great to me and now allofasudden is giving me a bunch of extra stuff (all welcomed, and all well paid) they first got me a work permit while still on a dependent arc, then, when I wanted to work elsehwere as well (mo money mo money mo money) they agreed to sponsor my ARC too so I could get more work permits. They are now handing me some great stuff (since I desperately need the hours).

That kinda is a good point (hopefully only kinda!) since I will, essentially, be teaching....(to fake students, lol) I will just be taped while doing so

" Fake" is part of the culture as well alive and accepted. I'd rather call the fake students "Actors".

Question: if you discover that this footage becomes a "fake" message, which moral grounds are you gonna stand on?

Related to this, I was thinking of the ?? "fake" advertising recently on ICRT in which you hear a few young pupils shout they are accepted at some leading universities. While those were also actors, they might have helped creating a lie.

Update:

Did the video.

Only took 40 mins, was paid close to 2000nt (not bad for 2 hours)

Most of the students were real students, a couple were young girls (early-mid 20's) who work at the school (same age as the students).

Evidently it wasn't my boss' idea, but by boss' boss in Taipei (its an adult buxiban chain) so I assume that's why she was a bit fuzzy on the details.

But it went swell.

Nearly all my students are fake students.

But then I'm arguably a fake teacher.
