I had to half the sugar in the recipe, and it's still really really sweet and heavy, but 'hey' we do promote 'western style dessert' so I guess it's should be kinda expected. The original recipe was just ridiculous, I mean my 'sweetness tolerance' is much higher than most, and even I struggled. I dare not make fudge, cause that will be a killer, I'll end up eating it all myself, I do want to try and make some lemon meringue pie, another really sweet one, but maybe I can experiment a little.
