I was going to check this place out but smoking is not for me. I hate it in bars.

The Speakeasy will be showing the knock out stages live at the bar. Starting this Saturday at 1pm with Ireland v Wales.

Pints of Guinness will be only 150nt!

Taiwan Draught will be 80nt

And basic cocktails will be 100nt right thru live coverage of the games.

All other drinks will be at Happy Hour prices too!

You can't much cheaper than that!

Sorry about that Tango42. We're actually closed on Mondays but because last Tuesday was a holiday, we opened on Monday and Closed on Tuesday. We're back to regular hours this week.

I'm a fan of The Speakeasy, but the cig smoke gets to me too. Not a fan of that, at any establishment. Doesn't matter if they serve booze or not.

The Speakeasy is the latest venture of consummate barman Niall Clinton. It's tucked away in the southeast corner of Fuxing South Road and Civil Blvd. It's a great place to meet up with friends, they're open late, and they've got Guinness on tap!

Forgive me, but hasn't alcohol been legal in Taiwan for some time now? You say it's the latest, but isn't it quite a bit late to start a party which has long since started? Unless they sell dope!? Now that's a place worth visiting perhaps!
