Free offline Windows CC-CEDCIT application

Postby Milkybar_Kid » 01 Oct 2011, 20:37

Hi,

Does anyone know of a free application that I can use to access the CC-CEDICT Chinese Dictionary offline?

I use Pleco on my ipad and the MDBG website on my laptop but I don’t always have access to the internet on my laptop. I understand that I need some sort of “database application” to access the dictionary without using the internet.

Does anyone know of any free applications? I can download the dictionary database of entries from the MDBG website but I need a program to open this database.

Any help appreciated.

Thanks

You can download CCDict for free on Pleco. Look under "Add Ons" on the bottom toolbar.

There's DimSum (http://www.mandarintools.com/dimsum.html) for your laptop.

There's Memeo (http://www.memeochinesedictionary.com/) for your Droid phone.
