Nutrition for health and weight

Interesting mention of herbalife. There are a few people at work doing it. And yes, it is surprising given how easy it is to lose weight in Taiwan.

It was about 14 years ago, when I first came to Taiwan, No girlfriend! No wife and free for a date.
I ended up having in a row three dates with Herbalife agents and one with a Newskin agent.
They were so desperately trying to sell their powders that any and everything was an option. Including dating idiots like me.
At the Newskin place I ended up with some green slimy paste all over my face and then got really angry shouting out in front of everyone.
"I thought this was a date. Get me out of here now!"
The Herbalife agents were sitting in front of a payphone feeding it with their own money. I did not know if I had a culture shock, was being joked or if that was Taiwanese reality.

If you look at this thread many posters only have 1 or 5 posts.
Not that I want to imply anything though.

I had my own, albeit less extreme, run-in with those Herbal Life folks...enough to figure out I didn't want to hang out around them anymore...

14 years ago herbalife was new to Taiwan so it's not surprising, Taiwanese are quite crazy when they get onto a good thing, I often get freaked out by how obssessed they become by things, thanks for sharing the experience, I know the feeling.

Still though, didn't actually try the product though did you.

nothing strange about it at all really. Firstly, we are not a weight loss company, but a nutrition company for energy and health, weight improvement is a side-affect of good nutrition.

Similarly, why are there so many gyms, doctor's clinics, and coffee shops?

Nutrition for health and weight

What you are is a MLM company, hence the 'random' lower minions posting their 'positive' thoughts after yours. Many of us have lived in Taiwan long enough to see through this charade.

sigh, I can honestly say I don't know who those people are, it would be cool if they were random lower minions posting support though, wish they had let me know beforehand.

there is no charade as all I have been doing is posting facts about the products, which aren't something you can argue with, this is not a debate about MLM, which, by the way, is a perfectly acceptable business format, ask Microsoft, ask Donald Trump, ask Robert Kiyosaki, it is a post about who is interested to hear more about products. If I want to drink a coke, I personally try a bottle and think "hey, this is a good flavour, makes me feel OK too" I don't start slating the company, I trust that if governments and agencies around the world have tested it and it has a long history of success, it's worth developing my own opinion.

For those of you that perceive a charade that you are seeing through, congratulations, I can see through things that don't exist too. Your opinions are your own, and in a public forum there is always going to be debate and trolling either way, however, as none of you are posting anything but conjecture and generalisations (except the first few posters who were posting genuine health advice, which is welcome) perhaps it would be better to refrain.

Ok, we all know how it works. As long the 'product' the holy 'product' doesn't kill or harm anyone, at least not immediately or within a time-period that leaves an opportunity for prove that this product is either good or very bad, it all comes down to opinion.
You are right with your statement about the public board and such, and here is my opinion. Take some natural ingredients such as rice powder, milk-powder, chocolate powder and so on. Add a little herb, maybe mint, camomile , hamamelis etc. and you can call it a formula/recipe. Give it a name (Kerbalstife) and sell it as a natural Viagra.

Now go online and advertise wherever you can. You should make some money!

Good for you!
Nutrition for health are very cheap in Taiwan.
Bananas rich in potassium 23NT$ the pound.
Carrots rich in Vitamin A same.
guavas, papayas, mamayas you name it it's all really cheap.

So please explain to me! Why exactly should I eat your powder?
