Opinion wanted: Liquor right before bed

Sometimes I find it relaxing to put on some nice chill music and pour myself a little bit of scotch right before going to bed. It's all fine and dandy until when I'll have to then run back down to the bathroom and brush my teeth again... the trip downstairs, the teeth-brushing, the cool minty toothpaste all adds to killing that pleasant pre-sleep buzz.

So caring deeply about my dental heath, I'd really like to know whether it's necessary to brush your teeth again after consuming a bit of liquor. Thoughts?
