Insurance during 4 months waiting time before NHI

Hello everyone,

I have a job in Taiwan and my husband won't be covered by NHI until 4 months after getting the ARC if I well understood.

How did you do for these 4 months?
Did you apply to travel insurance for the waiting time? Or are there local insurances in Taiwan (cheaper than travel insurance?)

If you have experience to share, or ideas and names for solution, I will be happy to read it!

Just get travel insurance from your home country. Usually not expensive at all. That's what I did.

That's why its called travel insurance and not stay at home insurance.
