fitness in toufen

I am going to be living in Toufen (save your comments about how horrible it is there) and would like to find some good outdoor walking/running paths or parks where I could walk or run. Also, are there any health clubs there? Cost? Any info you could provide would be much appreciated!

i live in toufen- I don't think it's so bad! haha... i can't comment on the outdoor fitness options, as I am unaware and probably just too new to know... but i CAN tell you there are NO gyms here... although I'm told there is a 'curves' (if you're a female?) somewhere here in town... and i just joined an indoor municipal pool, so will be swimming a few days a week... I think the cost to swim is like 140NT per visit, but I'm doing a year-long deal for like 11,000NT which, to be honest, is only a good deal if you go at least 4X a week. Closest gym is World Gym in Hsinchu. and there are at least 2 there that I know of. hope that helps
