Luxury Motels in Taiwan

Forum rules
When posting, especially when starting a new thread, please use a title that explains your post or thread, e.g. don't put "Help please!" when you could put "Where can I find a camp site near Kending?"

Please check your spelling, because someone may do a text search for your information, e.g. if someone searches for information on Xizhi and you have spelled it She Jher, they won't find it. Someone spelled camping as "campin" without a g at the end - again, it can't be found by a text search. For place names in Taiwan, please try to use Hanyu Pinyin as default, as that is the spelling most people know.

Please place links in your posts to sources of information. If you don't know how to hotlink text, click on the BBCode tips link in my signature to find out.

If you find a thread that is so hopelessly out of date that it couldn't be of use to anyone, please send the moderator a private message (with the URL of the thread)

If you spot two or more threads that you think could be merged, again, alert the moderator

I stayed there a few weeks ago and can recommend it. Had a great room, very nice service staff and they offer great deals if you book online (don't let them scare you away with the rates quoted on their website).

I heard it is really hard to book a room at Mulan. How much did you pay for the room?

Is that what they look like? Never noticed.

I've stayed at quite a few in different places in Taiwan, but perhaps too pre-occupied with meaningless conversation while opening the cheap wine or beer from 7/11 down the street, flipping through the luxury TV channels, investigating the contents of the vending machine beside the bed, jumping into the hot tub, and figuring out the special machines and devices before time, sun or garage door is up.

Not at all.

Pick a room, check availability, book online. You might not find a free room for the same night (especially on weekends) but booking a few days in advance should work.

If you're traveling overseas, do yourself a favor and bring a pen. You would not believe how many people travel without one, and you need one to fill out the immigration forms. I carry some, but I can’t carry 200.
