3 day trip from Tapei to Kending. Accommodations/transportation... Any suggestions?

When posting, especially when starting a new thread, please use a title that explains your post or thread, e.g. don't put "Help please!" when you could put "Where can I find a camp site near Kending?"

Please check your spelling, because someone may do a text search for your information, e.g. if someone searches for information on Xizhi and you have spelled it She Jher, they won't find it. Someone spelled camping as "campin" without a g at the end - again, it can't be found by a text search. For place names in Taiwan, please try to use Hanyu Pinyin as default, as that is the spelling most people know.

Hey, I was thinking about this myself, but for this year's CNY. I had a couple of questions—is it going to be warm enough, in a couple weeks, for me to chill out on the beach? I couldn't imagine being outside for too long in Taipei. Also, how's the beach? Worth it for just lying on to read a book? I bought a hammock in Thailand this last year, and I'd love to string it up and catch up on the reading list, but without never going, I'm not so sure.

It's nice and warm down here in Tainan during the day, so KT must be better.

Don't think you'll manage to get a hammock up unless you go around the eastern coves - the normal side of Kending is too populated. Baishawan is a beautiful beach though you can pass on the rest, really.
