A couple of months ago, we ran a photography workshop for children aged five through twelve. It was really successful, and we are now holding another one on May 19th. Alex Lee will teach this session, too. Alex is an excellent photographer, and more importantly, he works really well with the kids and is very prepared. Last session, he taught several concepts and the children came away with a new understanding about photography and their cameras.

Numbers are limited to ten children (age 5-12), so if you would like your child to come along, learn about photography, and meet some other English-speaking kids, please sign up early!

*Alex has also asked children to prepare printouts of five photographs. They should try to have a central theme running through them. Please bring your own camera. It can be any kind of camera. Last session kids used I-phones and digital cameras.

Cost is TWD450/child, which includes snacks.

Oh no! I found this website too late! This would been a fantastic event to go to! My 7 year old son is actually loves taking pictures and is quite handy composing with the iPhone or my point and shoot and he loves using the viewfinder like a seasoned pro!

Please host more events like these so our children can interact, learn English, and parents can also make some new friends too!

We had a really good time on Saturday! I'm sorry you missed it. We are trying to arrange a Stranger Danger/Self Defence workshop/series, and have the week-long Summer Camp in July. So far, we have maybe three or four kids in the 7-8 year age-group confirmed for the week. There are also chances for you to meet other parents.
