There's nothing worse than staying home on a rainy Friday night. Come out to the happy hour and find out why everybody always says, "Wow, Forumosans are really great people when you meet them in person." :)

According to the directions on the On Tap website, it's only a 2 minute walk from the MRT.

Address of On Tap:
No 21, Alley 11, Lane 216, Zhongxiao East Road

I might actually be able to make this one. Although the rain is sapping my motivation a bit...

Mail order bride?
If I prioritized the acquisition of wealth above other purposes in life, I might still have come to Taiwan to study Chinese, but I doubt I would have remained here.

Worked, got home to sweep up dead cockroaches after the bombing, and dragged my bedding to the laundromat to get out the fumes through downpours of rain.

Not in the mood for a HH :s
"I wanted to be puzzled and charmed, to experience the endless, beguiling variety of a continent where you can board a train and an hour later be somewhere where the inhabitants speak a different language, eat different foods, work different hours, live lives that are at once so different and yet so oddly similar. I wanted to be a tourist," Bill Bryson.
"...But I ended up in Taiwan," Lili.

how much satisfaction,
how much comfort,
how much soul and transcendence there might be
in a cold bottle of beer.

Great time tonight. Thank you so much, BigJohn for organizing the night. I've always liked the downstairs area of On Tap, and tonight was a lot of fun with all of the people who came despite the rain.
