So what do you guys figure, is it over tomorrow morning? I think it's a foregone conclusion the Kings will win their 1st Stanley Cup, just a matter of how many games it'll take. My brain tells me the Kings win in 4, but my heart tells me the Devils will at least prolong it one more game.

Your prediction is one game away from being correct.

I'm hoping the Kings can end this sooner so the trades can start pouring in.

And that's........an NHL season. Congrats to the LA Kings. They didn't look like much in the regular season, sneaking into the playoffs as the 8th seed in the West, but they certainly earned the Cup with their play in the postseason. Quick had to get the Conn Smythe MVP. Had to be him. Although, Dustin Brown means an awful lot to that team too. And to think, he was almost shipped out at the trade deadline.

Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!! Good on ya Zach Parise.

Parise makes it clear: Rangers not in his future

With the New Jersey Devils' season over and free agency only weeks away, there are several questions facing captain Zach Parise and his future with the team.

He answered one of those Wednesday when he unequivocally ruled out playing for the rival New York Rangers.

Asked three separate times whether he'd consider playing for the Rangers, Parise was unwavering in his responses.

"No."

Parise signing with the Rangers would be like Iginla wearing green and blue.

First of many trades to come:

[NSH/TB] Lindback, K. Wilson, 7th to Tampa for 2 2nds, S. Caron and a 3rd

Yzerman takes a big gamble on someone who's played no more than 30 NHL games.

This also marks the first time the Poile didn't trade their starter and gave the starting spot to their back up. Previously traded starting goalies includes guys like Vokoun, Mason, and Ellis.

Very pessimistic outlook for next season here. Looks bad.

Don't mind if it's only a half season lock out.

Won't they lose more in a lockout/walkout than they'll save by rolling back the players' share? Come on Bettman. Do the friggin' math for those bozo owners.
