WIMBLEDON!

Postby Rockefeller » 06 Jul 2012, 19:26

Still rooting for Roger Federer... Today we have the semi's with him against Novak Djokovic. This is gonna be fun to watch.

Dear friend, if you were ever even just faintly interested in tennis, now would be a good time to tune in. Boy are you in for a treat.

Ok Murray isn't going to win any major championships until he figures out his head and his legs. The rolled over ankles, the cramps, the odd stiffening of what, his quads?, if the match goes to four sets. That boy has GOT to be the most fragile Scot athlete ever. And given his fragile sport psyche he needs 110% of his physical gifts, just to overcome his own immature hot-headedness.

Congrats to RF, nice numero siete. Despite dodgy control of balls hit to the corner, he won with mighty fine net play and a wicked serve. ... and a fragile Scot.

Nope, he was Scottish all along. There is a lot of hatred out there by the English for Andy Murray and his comments about his nationality. Not from me though. I don't give a shit what he says, it's his tennis that does (or does not) do all the talking. Sad for the wee man when he cried yesterday. We all know how it feels to want something so badly.
There are millions of people in the world. And none of those people is an extra. They're all leads in their own stories.

The English press is a bit of a laughing stock about this and has been for several years because of this Murray thing. But it sells their papers. Bidness is bidness, and the mighty Sun editorial team has never held "being thought of as not stupid cunts" very high on their agenda. Not as long as Dwayne and Senga are buying, at least.
