Marriage was not registered

We got married outside of Taiwan but he didn't register the marriage in Taiwan. We separated. But I never divorced him. Under the Philippine law, there is NO divorce. What are my rights?

Married outside Taiwan? No registration? I would say that in the eyes of the law here, you are not married and have never been married. You need a local family lawyer. Start saving. They are NOT cheap.
If you have no money, I would start with the Manila trade office guys. They MIGHT be able to point you in the right direction. If they're not drinking tea and playing card games.

Is the law with me? Can I get a divorce for a marriage that is legally binding in one country and not acknowledged in the other(Taiwan)? Truthfully, I just want to cut loose everything and let go of the past but--I can't really go out and get married again without a divorce, can I? That would be bigamy.

I think the odds of being caught for bigamy are very slim. Since you're moving to another country it would only become apparent if your ex makes a fuss. Of course how you feel about it is another matter entirely, i can imagine it may way heavily on your conscience.

I PM'd the OP as I thought she was Pinay. I didn't get it why she referred to Filipini law so I Mentionned to ask her fellow OFW's . My mistake
First, I got a reply she is Australian bla-bla. When I replied on that one asking to be more specific in her input , she goes " sorry for asking - I didn't know asking questions was illegal"
What an unfortunate bad attitude this woman has. YesReally. She can't be Pinay.

So wait, she is Australian, SUPPOSEDLY married in the Phillipines (since she mentioned Fillipinio law) and wants to get married in Taiwan.
