Change of Taiwanese marriage law

Just to let everyone know that as from May 23rd the Taiwanese government will change how foreigners marry in Taiwan. From this date foreigners will now need to get married in their partners local family registry office. Thus making it easier by being able to marry and complete the family registration in the same office at the same time.

In other words, no more living in sin for the several weeks in between the ceremony and the registration. Or God forbid, getting cold feet in between the two...
