Hi all,
We plan to marry early next year. I have just sent my Certificate of No Impediment to the Taiwan rep in Uk for it to be stamped(it has been notorised).
Do I need to get this translated and stamped again?
Do we need to get Name Chops?...What are they?
Do I need a police check here or Taiwan?
Do I need a medical health check, here or Taiwan?
I have my original birth certificate.
We plan to marry, then I will return to Uk and I-ling get her visa for uk.
Any 100% help would be appreciated.

You don't need anything to marry in Taiwan. Health, police and impediment checks are for you to get a residence visa in Taiwan, it sounds like you don't need one.

Don't think so, I imagine they stamp and translate it at the same time.

Most people seen to get by without them.

Only if you want a residence visa to live in Taiwan. If you do, get a police check from Scotland Yard (if you've been living in the UK), then same procedure as your No Impediment Certificate. Health checks are cheaper and more tailor made in Taiwan.
