I was born in Taiwan and I want to get my ROC ID so I can get a place, bank account, etc. I've already renewed my passport (which has my ID #) and even have an official copy of my old hukou from when I was a kid. As I understand from a previous post all I would have to do is go to the household registration office on my hukou and ask for it to be re-established? Besides my own passport, birth certificate, etc, is there anything else I would need to bring? Also, do they issue IDs there or is that only at the immigration agency?
Now that I think of it, I don't even have an address here. For those that have in the same boat as me which address did you use? Can I use any friend/family's address?
TIA for the help.
