Question for UK APRC holders

Postby magnolia » 10 Apr 2012, 13:35

For those of you from the UK who have been through the APRC application process, I wonder if you can help with a question: is it the ACRO Police Certificate that UK nationals are supposed to get? I'm confused because a) it seems to be for travel and not residency purposes; and b) are there any extra supporting docs required, as Taiwan is not one of the specified countries?

Any info much appreciated! Thanks!

Note to Mods: I know there is a huge thread on APRC (which I have been reading for years) but this is a quite specific question. Maybe it can be merged later? Thanks!

Have you read this APRC thread especially for Brits? It has a detailed guide including police reports.

Apologies if this is the huge thread you were referring to.

You need to get one of these from you local Police Force, mine was Avon & Somerset.

Each force's website should have one.

Cheers

Thanks for that, sir!

Here's the link for the Sussex police, in case anyone else needs it:

It seems to take me right back to the ACRO site, so I guess that must be the one these days. Will check with Taiwan Immigration.

Thanks again, Steviebike
