But... you need an invitation letter to get a tourist visa??? And only 14 days at that? That surprises me.
Thanks for reply Chris
Yes, I am surprised too, and my gf cried a lot for two days and fell sick when I told her that I only got 14 days with "No Extension" Visa. We were expecting that I will get 60 days Visitor Visa (extendable one) and then get married in Taiwan. With my application I gave them my bank statement showing $4000 and she also gave some documents proving her own house and good money in her account, to support my case. But I don't know if they even read my Covering Letter and Invitation letter with my application. I don't know why they ask the plan letter when they don't want to give that much period as we want. I guess that's to spoil the visitor's plan

. I booked a round trip ticket, to return back within 55 days and my everyday plan in the letter i mentioned. Though it was all useless. Later i needed to cancel that ticket and buy another round trip ticket for 14 days. I didn't mention in the letter she is my girlfriend and we want to marry. Because many people suggested me that better I wont mention it or I can never come to Taiwan. A guy on the counter said that they only will give you 14 days visa for tourism or visiting purpose. I guess its their policy, based on nationality, though India and Taiwan has good relation and Taiwan has huge market in India. Now we are fine, and just planning to get married and spend a good time together when I am in Taiwan. When I am back I will apply for Resident Visa. I am not sure they will give me Resident Visa as I am not from native English speaking country, but still I hope for good.

Thank you.
