I'm a hungarian man (still in Hungary) eager to marry his beloved taiwanese girlfriend in Taiwan. In order to do so I've already acquired the document proving that I'm eligible to marry upon the hunagrian law. Translation, authentication done. No problem so far.
Next step would be to get the ARC. Criminal record check done. I'll set out to Taiwan having a visitor visa in my passport.
However, I'm not too sure whether I'm requiered to get the marriage registered in my home country, when it comes to apply for an ARC. That would be a problem, because I'm not willing to return Hungary, I would like to arrange the paperwork at once, if possible.
So is the marriage certificate enough, which has been issued in Taiwan?
I'm seeking for guidance of someone who may know the answer.
Thanks in advance!
