Student on JFRV ARC wants insurance!

How can I get it? I'm not working now, and don't intend to anytime soon.
A friend said wait 4 months and go to the insurance office and fill out some paperwork, but her situation is a bit different (she's married to a foreigner with an APRC, I'm married to a Taiwanese).
Is this correct? And how much does it cost?

You are eligible after 4 months.

My wifes company pays for my health insurance, so I have no idea of the cost.
If your wife works her company should be able to get you on hers.

Or just get her to call the local NHS office.
