Medical for Arc renewal

I have just heard that the medical examination is not required if one is renewing an existing work permit. Is this true?

It is not needed for non-teaching work. (It used to be). Not sure about teachers.

If you teach, you sill have to go through the rigmarole of the medical, even for renewals. Silly isn't it?

At least you don't need to pee in the cup anymore.

So the guts of the matter....if you teach you have to do the physical each year, for other work don't need to?

The only think I reall object to is having an x-ray every year. More than one a year is considered unsafe. At least you don't have to shit in a cup any more. Maybe I'll do it anyway.
